SHAKTI / JUSTQRIUS

Hi, I’m Shakti. You might know me as justQrius.

I’ve always liked learning something new, figuring out how it works and sharing what I find. Sometimes I get absorbed in an idea. Sometimes it starts with someone asking for help.

I’ve worked with merchants, customers, retail teams and enterprise systems, as well as data and research. Across those settings, I’ve enjoyed getting to understand the problem and helping the people involved make progress.

Coming full circle with AI

AI and robotics were part of my graduate studies in Computational Engineering. Alongside that, I contributed literature research to the ROboMObil autonomous-vehicle project at the German Aerospace Center. I was interested in how intelligent systems could work in the physical world.

Working with AI agents now feels like coming full circle: returning to those interests with new ways to turn ideas into working software. I work with them to research approaches, decide what to build, work through problems and examine the result. There’s a lot of learning in that process.

Some of those ideas are taking shape as Octops, ElectronDreams and JobBooked. Others stay small experiments. I like having room for both.

What I bring to the work

I like getting into the details with people: understanding what they need, investigating what’s happening and working out what to do next.

At Shopify, that meant helping merchants with their stores and workflows. At Solsys, it included investigating client needs and carrying technical solutions through implementation and handoff. At Freedom Mobile, it meant working through customer problems and coaching the team.

Other parts of the work have been quieter: making sensor data usable, or finding and synthesizing relevant research. I like the combination of getting into the details and making what I find understandable to someone else.

Questions that connect the work

How do we know whether something worked? What does a person need to understand before deciding? What should survive when a conversation ends? Those questions show up in my agent-environment research, reusable tooling and working notes.

I don’t see every experiment as another product to launch. Sometimes the point is to follow a question, learn something, and see what it changes.

Where I’m drawn next

I’d like to spend more time around founders, engineers and scientists working on problems that matter. To learn from them, share what I know and work on things together. Making useful technology more accessible to people and smaller businesses is one direction I keep returning to.

I also love travelling, discovering new places and being around people. I want meaningful work and enough room to enjoy the rest of life.

Experience I draw on

Different settings, with people, systems and practical problems running through them.

Research, experiments & buildingIndependent work

Exploring business problems, AI-assisted applications, integrations and ways of working with agents. This includes shaping requirements, researching approaches, directing builds, reviewing results and iterating.

Current threads include Octops, ElectronDreams and JobBooked. Each has its own stage, questions and next steps.

Solutions EngineerSolsys

Worked with enterprise clients on technical investigations, integrations, configuration, implementation and issue resolution. Served as the primary contact and functional solutions engineer for a major telecom account.

Translated operational needs into technical changes, developed integrations using Python and Splunk tooling, coordinated delivery across client and specialist teams, and documented decisions for operational handoff. A distributed-deployment migration was one example of this work.

Ways our paths might cross

If you’re building a team, I’m interested in customer success, onboarding, solutions, implementation and enablement. If you have a business problem to work through, or something you’d like to explore together, I’d like to hear about that too.
