Research synthesis
Research for an autonomous vehicle
Research Assistant
German Aerospace Center (DLR)
Literature research for the ROboMObil autonomous-vehicle project, focused on relevant methods and prior implementations.
- My part
- Reviewed literature and synthesized methods and prior implementations relevant to Vehicle System Dynamics and Control.
- What I delivered
- Research input for ROboMObil. My contribution was literature research, rather than vehicle engineering.
At the German Aerospace Center, I reviewed literature and synthesized findings for the ROboMObil autonomous-vehicle project. My contribution was identifying methods and prior implementations relevant to Vehicle System Dynamics and Control.
Research as a contribution
Reading previous work, comparing approaches and organizing what is relevant are ways of helping a technical team develop understanding. Research and synthesis were my contribution here; the account is about that work rather than vehicle engineering.
Questions that continue
I’m drawn to engineering and the physical world, and I’m now exploring how people and agents could work with devices through ElectronDreams. These are different projects at different stages. They give me a way to share both an earlier research contribution and questions I’m curious about now.
Not every question needs to begin as a product. Some things are worth understanding because they open up a new way of thinking about what might be possible.
